This Privacy Policy explains how Kujato LLC, doing business as Site Rival and siterival.com ("SiteRival," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our websites, use our dashboard, request services, submit forms, communicate with us, or use our website, hosting, SEO, analytics, AI-assisted, email, and support services (collectively, the "Services").

If you use the Services for a business, you are responsible for making sure your own customers, prospects, employees, and website visitors receive any privacy notices and choices required by law for your business.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including name, business name, email address, phone number, billing details, account credentials, support requests, form submissions, website content, brand assets, business descriptions, customer messages, and other information you choose to send to us.

We collect account and service information, including login activity, dashboard usage, pages edited, files uploaded, publishing activity, support tickets, subscription status, invoices, payment method references, plan selections, and communications related to your account.

We collect website, analytics, and technical information, including IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps, cookies or similar identifiers, error logs, security logs, form metadata, search performance data, traffic data, page speed data, rankings, keyword data, and other diagnostic or usage information.

We may process information from third-party accounts you connect or authorize, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, Google Maps, Google Workspace, Stripe, scheduling tools, CRM tools, review platforms, DataForSEO, email providers, domain registrars, hosting services, and other integrations you request.

2. Information About Your Customers and Website Visitors

When the Company hosts or manages your website, we may process information submitted by your website visitors, leads, customers, or prospects through forms, uploads, messages, scheduling links, embedded tools, analytics scripts, cookies, and similar features. This may include contact information, service requests, message content, uploaded files, IP address, browser data, and interaction data.

For customer website data that we process on your behalf, you are generally the business responsible for determining why and how that data is processed. The Company processes that data to provide the Services, secure and maintain the website, send notifications, support your account, troubleshoot issues, and comply with your instructions and applicable law.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services; build, host, publish, back up, and update websites; provide CMS access; process forms; send transactional and marketing emails where configured; manage billing and subscriptions; provide support; troubleshoot issues; monitor performance; generate analytics and reports; perform SEO, GEO, AI search readiness, content, keyword, backlink, and competitive analysis; prevent fraud and abuse; enforce our Terms; and comply with legal obligations.

We may also use information to communicate with you about your account, invoices, support requests, security notices, product updates, service changes, offers, and administrative messages. You may opt out of promotional communications where required by law, but we may still send transactional or service-related messages.

4. AI-Assisted Processing

The Company uses AI-assisted tools and service providers to help draft, analyze, optimize, summarize, classify, generate, or improve content, images, metadata, SEO recommendations, reports, support responses, and website edits. Information processed by AI tools may include website content, prompts, page context, business information, analytics summaries, keywords, and instructions you provide.

We use commercially reasonable efforts to limit AI processing to what is useful for providing the Services. You should not provide sensitive personal information, protected health information, financial account numbers, government identifiers, passwords, or other highly sensitive data in prompts, support requests, website content, or forms unless we have expressly agreed in writing that the Services are designed for that data.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, log files, and similar technologies to operate websites and dashboards, maintain sessions, remember preferences, detect abuse, measure usage, analyze performance, support marketing, and improve the Services. Third-party services such as Google Analytics, Stripe, embedded schedulers, maps, videos, chat tools, and other integrations may use their own technologies subject to their policies.

You can control cookies through browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect functionality, login sessions, analytics accuracy, embedded services, and some dashboard features.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers, contractors, processors, and vendors that help us provide the Services, including hosting, infrastructure, storage, security, analytics, email delivery, payment processing, search and SEO data, AI processing, customer support, debugging, monitoring, domain and DNS services, and professional services.

We may share information with third-party platforms you connect, authorize, or request us to use, including Google services, Stripe, AWS, Resend, DataForSEO, OpenAI, xAI, domain registrars, scheduling platforms, CRMs, review platforms, and similar services. These third parties may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with law, legal process, government requests, security investigations, fraud prevention, enforcement of our Terms, protection of rights or safety, collection of unpaid amounts, or business transactions such as a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information for money. We also do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in a way that would be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under some privacy laws unless disclosed and permitted by law.

7. Payments

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe. The Company does not store full payment card numbers. We may receive payment status, billing contact details, payment method type, last four digits, expiration information, subscription status, invoices, receipts, and related billing metadata from payment processors.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Services, maintain accounts, operate websites, satisfy legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, preserve backups, secure systems, and support legitimate business purposes. Backup copies, logs, archived files, and residual data may persist for a limited time after deletion from active systems.

9. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, such as access controls, HTTPS, authentication, backups, monitoring, vendor controls, and separation of tenant data where applicable. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for using strong passwords, protecting credentials, limiting authorized users, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection related to certain personal information. You may also have the right to appeal a decision or lodge a complaint with a regulator. We will respond to valid requests as required by applicable law.

To protect privacy and security, we may need to verify your identity or authority before acting on a request. If we process information on behalf of one of our business customers, we may direct your request to that customer or process it according to that customer's instructions.

11. Marketing Communications

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link where provided or contacting us. We may still send non-promotional messages about your account, purchases, invoices, security, support, legal notices, or service operations.

12. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

13. International Users

The Company is operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States and other locations where we or our service providers operate. These locations may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.

14. Customer Websites and Third-Party Links

Websites hosted or built by the Company may contain links, embeds, scripts, forms, booking widgets, payment links, maps, videos, chat tools, analytics, or other third-party features. The Company is not responsible for third-party privacy practices. Your business is responsible for reviewing third-party tools you choose to use and for providing appropriate privacy notices to your own visitors and customers.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates are effective when posted unless a later date is stated. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the dashboard, email, invoice notes, or other reasonable means.
